Bachlorette Party!

We decided to have Ashli's bachlorette party the day after Christmas. Why? Well, the 26th was pretty much the only day we had until she got married on January 2, 2010! Unfortunately, due to the holidays we only had family who could make it. I definitely feel that Daniels sisters are like my sisters. I really do enjoy them!I asked Heather (daniels sister) to bring the dessert. Unfortunately, her dessert didn't set right, so we thought it would be fun to bring candy that had "men" names (if you know what I mean). For instance: Big Hunks, Sugar Daddies, Mr. Goodbar, etc... This is mine and Terica's gift bag!We played pin the lips on the man. I think Ashli cheated some how because she got the lips right on the bulls eye!!We had a great time! I had went to a friends bachlorette party everyone was assigned a basket. We had to buy and decorate it to what our imagination could think of! Mine and Terica's was the "For Him" basket. We pretty much stood around the couples store and laughed at all of the crazy things to buy! The for him basket was pretty much designed for things Ashli could do for Daniel. I am pretty sure he is going to thank us later! haha!
We had so much fun finding different things to buy and look at. Boy, I will tell ya, that stuff is for Adult eyes only!!! They had a clearance rack and saw some penis straws. So for a dollar, we bought some that we had to drink out of! Some were good sports and some just couldn't do it! We thought it would be fun to have spaghetti for dinner. There at the adult store, I found some penis pasta! Haha! (On a side note, when I was making the pasta, I asked Jason to test the noodles. He opposed to that very quickly! Why it is just noodles! haha! After the spaghetti was ready, I wanted to save some for Brady. Jason again said no way is my son eating that stuff!) I was going to upload a picture of our drink, but....
One of the games we played was we got into groups and one person at the end had toilet paper between their knees and a teammate had to lead the other teammate that was blindfolded with a stick of some sort between their legs. The object of the game was to see who could put their stick in the toilet paper hole the fastest! We sure had some great laughs. The winner of the game got a penis sucker! I had told my mom before hand and she laughed and said she better not get one. Guess what? She got one!!! haha!
P.S. I later found out that my mom's team cheated! Gasp!!! That is how they won the toilet paper game.
P.S.S. I was trying to upload a video of the toilet paper game, but it was taking FFFOOORRREEEVVEERR!!! Sorry! Use your imagination! haha!

Merry Christmas 2009

I was reading on the internet one day, a long time ago, and found where this family thought it would be fun to incorprate the birth of Christ and the true meaning of Christmas into their lives, to give them a reminder this Christmas day what it is all about. Like the 3 wiseman who came and visited baby Jesus had brought Him a gift. So, Jason and I thought it would be fun to give the kids only 3 gifts. Spiritual, Practical and Fun! We gave them a picture of Christ, an outfit and toy or movie. I did however, buy Brady a tractor, because he seriously thought Santa was going to bring him one. We would always ask him what Santa was bringing him and he always said a Tractor. I had no idea!

Christmas Eve, we got the kids to bed and prepared for Santa to come. At about midnight, I think Brady heard Santa because he decided he wanted to get up. I got Brady from his room and he was motioning for us to go into the living room. There he asked to watch "Shark tale." I had a hard time staying awake. Brady was falling asleep, so I got him up to put him back in bed. He didn't like the idea. So, I put him in bed with Jason and I. Ya, we didn't like that so much. Finally, I walked him to his room and there he found under the tree was a tractor! He ran to the tree, started yelling for the tractor and started playing with it. Totally ruined the surprise for the morning! He was still happy to see it that morning!

Around 10am on Christmas morning we drove to Jason's parents house to celebrate with them. To be honest, at first it was kind of weird not having all of Jason's siblings there. This is the first Christmas like that. I really do wish that we can be together next year. Anywho, we had a little breakfast of cinnamon rolls, so we wouldn't get full for our brunch! The food was very yummy! Lillie makes excellent brisket! So juicy, very tasty, oh yummmm!

This year for Christmas I thought it would be fun to give the parents a calendar of Brady and Emma through out 2009. I was really impressed with it. If you ever need ideas for gifts or what not go to http://www.shutterfly.com/Jason's parents got the wii for Christmas and I couldn't help but take a picture of Bob and his form. This is what he looked like while bowling! It has become tradition in my family to dress up really nice and prepare a fancy dinner for Christmas. It all started when my sisters and I were younger and my dad had to work Christmas day. My mom didn't want us to open our gifts from Santa when dad was not home. So, my mom thought it would be fun to get all dressed up, prepare a fancy candle light dinner and surprise my dad. We have enjoyed this tradition for many years and look forward to it. Plus, it makes it nice to be able to be with all family and not have to rush as much.

Brady thought it was the coolest thing to see a truck waiting for him from Santa! He didn't notice at first, but he was so excited when he got to drive it!Daniel and AshliBrady also got a big tractor from Nahnie and Papa! He thought it was the coolest thing to help Papa open his gifts while sitting in the bed of the dump truck!Emma's first baby doll!We thought it would be fun to add a little spice to our night by having a White Elephant exchange. As you can tell from Terica's facial expression, she didn't know what to think. (Terica is the one holding the baby)

Daniel and Ashli can't have a pet at the place they are living at. So, Daniel thought it would be fun to buy Ashli a toy dog. As you can see Emma got really scared by it when Ashli made it walk.

We have a date!

Here is a little heads up that little miss Emma will be having her second surgery February 17, 2010. We will go to ABQ the day before and have her pre-op with Dr. Cuadros, get her all prepared and then start the fasting process. Yay! :( We are hoping she will recover as fast as she did the first time. Dr. Cuadros did inform us that this surgery won't be as major as the first, so maybe so. We will then come back to albuquerque February 24, 2010 to get her stitches out.

Christmas Eve

This year we only celebrated Christmas Eve at my grandparents house. I love this time of year. The time to get together with Family, celebrate the birth of Christ, Recognize our blessings and be thankful!
"The Spirit of Christmas illuminates the picture window of the soul... To catch the real meaning of the "Spirit of Christmas," we need only drop the last syllable, and it becomes the "Spirit of Christ." ~Thomas S. Monson

My cousin was on his way home for the Holidays, the day before Christmas Eve, coming from Albuquerque when he hit a patch of ice and flipped his truck. We are very fortunate to this day to still have him here with us. My dad and grandpa went to go resuce him and my dad said he was just inches away from a post going right through the truck and he getting struck by it. We are very grateful for all of our many blessings and to thankful to know that our prayers are always answered. Thankfully enough he only came out of the accident sore!

Prepping Emma

Since Emma was born she has had such long hair! Luck for me, I have more ways than one to do it! My mom thought it would be fun/cool to put Emma's hair in sponge curlers! Yes, for being almost 9 months old, her hair is long enough to accomplish this task!
As you can tell by the end she was getting really tired. We had to let the sponges dry, I gave her a bottle and she conked right out. Emma was such a good sport though.
All she needed was like a 5 minute power nap and she was good to go after that!
The End Result!
Isn't she so stickin' CUTE!!!

She and her hair was a big hit for Christmas Eve!

Happy Anniversary

On December 15, 2006 Jason and I were sealed in the Albuquerque Temple for all Time and Eternity.
3 years!!!!

These last 3 years have been a fun ride. We have had our ups and downs; thankfully we have been able to have the strenght to move forward and have our love continue to grow for one another.

The last 3 years:

Jason and I wanted to wait to start a family into the 2nd year of marriage. Heavenly Father had other plans for us! After 6 months of marriage, we found out that we were pregnant. On March 19, 2008 Brady Quinn Tucker was born. After a long 27 hours of labor and even though I had gotten an epidural, which wore off by the time I was ready to push, Jason was dead set on not having another baby for at least 10 years! Ha! When Brady was 3 months old, I found out that I was pregnant again! On April 5, 2009 Emma Rae Tucker was born! Life right now is all about our little family.

It has been over a month since I quit my job and since I have been staying home, I have been enjoying every minute! I am thankful for Jason and for the willingness to go to work from 6am-5pm so that he can provide for our family.

Jason is such an amazing person. I am so thankful he is my best friend. I am thankful that he puts up with me (with a smile) and loves me unconditionaly.

I look forward to the eternal years with you Jason!

So far behind....

before I update the blog, I just wanted to apologize for you guys having to wait for an update. Since I have quit my job, it is harder for me to post because we dont have the internet at home. I hope to get better...
